Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stepix platform at stepixai.com (the "Service"). Stepix is operated by Algonix ("we", "us", or "our"), a company located at 2810 N Church St STE 89542, Wilmington, DE 19802 — a product of algonix.net. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you are 16 years of age or older. If you are under 16, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to users under the required age.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Capture screens or data from systems you are not authorized to test
- Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' reports or data
- Use automated tools to create accounts or generate reports in bulk
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
The Service is intended for legitimate software quality assurance, bug reporting, and testing activities only.
4. Subscription and Billing
Plans
We offer Free, Team, Business, and Enterprise plans. Plan details, including report limits and features, are described on the billing page.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge that method on a recurring basis.
Upgrades and Downgrades
You may change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time.
Free Plan Limits
Free plan accounts are subject to report limits as stated on the billing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with reasonable notice.

5. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all bug reports, screenshots, videos, and other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it solely to provide the Service to you.
Our Service
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Service (excluding User Content) are owned by Stepix and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Data and Security
- We take reasonable measures to protect your data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for the security of your own systems and any data you choose to capture.
- You acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Termination
By You
You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent - all your reports and media files will be permanently removed.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any activity we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALGONIX (OPERATING STEPIX) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where Algonix is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
